  1. Recovery of all social networks of a financial company, that she was has been hacked.
  2. Design and implementation of electronic security solutions for various companies.
  3. Design, development and implementation of a solution for the management and control of driving schools with online data capture of: Route tracking, learning process, user identification and validation, video recording of theoretical and practical classes, and other settings related to electronic control, telemetry and cybersecurity. The solution is called CEA-Web®.
  4. Design and development of a renewable energy solution for a resort with 30 buildings between rooms and bungalows.
  5. Design and development of OWASP-compliant software, and firmware with cryptographic capabilities for a variety of companies.
  6. Design and implementation of radio links and telecommunication networks for various companies.
  7. Design, development and implementation of telemetry control solution in automation process.
  8. Design and implementation of structured cabling.
  9. Ethical hacking, penetration testing and vulnerability testing for various companies.

Army Officer

Colombian National Army – CO

January 1995 to March 2009 Colombia

As Staff Officer for Intelligence, Communications, Tactical and Strategic Operations, and Chief Director of the Research and Technical Development Department of the Telecommunications Directorate of the General Command of the Colombian Military Forces (DITEL), I have developed and managed several projects such as:
  1. Engineering and Maintenance of Microwave Links Program. With this program, under my leadership, my team was able to save 1 million dollars in one year (2008) the regular programs with external contractors. We took unclassified technology, applied reverse engineering, and developed the drivers, PCB, and all the electronic circuitry needed to keep the microwave working.
  2. Cyber warfare squadron program. I laid the necessary groundwork to lay the foundation for the growth of the first cyber warfare squadron within the military communications branch, we compete with the technical intelligence branch is this goal (2005-2006). We formed a squadron with the skills needed for pen-testing, hacking, electronic eavesdropping, interception and electronic warfare.
  3. Program "Telecentros". With Gillat Satellite Networks I designed and implemented the "Telecentros" program, which was a digital center that provided communications to remote locations throughout the country, including rural communities and military bases, the last with special security configurations (2003-2004). This program provided formal education for many children in these communities and 550 regular soldiers that they could finish their high school online modality.
  4. PRC77-PRC377 DTC, Military Communications Branch Program of the Colombian Army (1997), in which I participated as an engineer in a team to give the PRC77-PRC377 tactical radios digital transmission capability (DTC) with an enhanced cryptographic component. These tactical radios are currently out of service. When this program got in service, provided a significative vintage over our enemies, the guerrilla. Because they could not understand our transmissions when they heard us.
  5. Some projects have security classification active, those projects understand the following fields: Telemetry, Remote Access and Control, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensic.
My experience as an engineer in the Colombian National Army is described in the following roles:
  • Design and calculation of satellite microwave links - terrestrial and radio links.
  • Design and implementation of Wide Area Networks and Local Area Networks.
  • Apply technical knowledge, principles and practices in programming (Assembler - C / C ++ - Java).
  • Develop programs for computers or software packages (C / C ++ - Java), code instructions in machine language (Assembler).
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot user problems.
  • Test, document and implement computer programs or software packages.
  • Ensure the operation of programs and make necessary modifications (reverse engineering).
  • Analyze requirements for the application of technology in real-time environments for the processing or control of machines, instrumentation, robotics, telecommunications, environmental monitoring, radar, engineering and industrial and scientific applications.
  • Design and develop or coordinate the development, testing and implementation of programming languages and software packages.
  • Understand the human and organizational issues involved in the implementing of computer solutions so that they can be implemented and applied.
  • Manage computer projects and / or telecommunications.
  • Implement and maintain communications networks, software and hardware.
  • Propose, design, build, evaluate, test, audit, and maintain IT solutions.
  • Supervise, control, and inspect the installation, modification, and testing of computers and related equipment.
  • Teach in areas related to electronics, telecommunications and information technology.
  • Information Analyst - Digital evidence management and forensic computing.
  • Design - development and implementation of active (access control - biometric index validation - DIP) and passive (CCTV) electronic security solutions.
  • Supervise the work of programmers, technicians and other engineers.
  • Analyze, design and implement electronic control systems.
  • Develop specialized applications and hardware and software components for solutions in telecommunications, control, robotics, mechatronics and related areas.
  • Develop operation and maintenance manuals for electronic and telecommunications systems and equipment.
  • Determine materials, costs and estimated time, reports and design specifications for electronic and telecommunications systems and equipment.
  • Direct feasibility, design, operation, and maintenance studies of communications systems, instrumentation and electronic controls, equipment, and components.

  • Design, operate and maintain industrial electronic applications.
  • Carry out interdisciplinary studies and research projects in areas such as robotics, telematics, microelectronics and mechatronics, among others.
  • Investigate the causes of electronic failures.
  • Supervise other technicians.
  • Supervise the installation, modification, commissioning and maintenance of electronic and telecommunications systems and equipment.
  • Prepare APTs (Protocols of Acceptance of Tests) for microwave, and satellite links, and microwave, satellite ground, and radio link equipment.
  • Ensure the operation of programs and make the necessary modifications (reverse engineering).
